CITY OF SPRINGFIELD PROCUREMENT BULLETIN
The City of
Springfield works to acquire commodities and services in the most
cost effective, efficient and impartial manner within the
appropriate guidelines. Goods, services, and construction, are
generally obtained through a bid or proposal solicitation process to
offer the opportunity for equitable participation by businesses. Below are listings of current projects
and the dates for bid openings. Bid opening meetings are public meetings
and are listed within each bidding document.

Apprenticeship & Training Participant and Registration
Any bidder interested in bidding on any City of Springfield bid or
request for proposal must certify that it and each Subcontractor (if
any) performing work on a public works contract are participants in an
applicable apprenticeship and training program approved by and
registered with the United States Department of Labor’s Bureau of
Apprenticeship and Training. If you are not already a “signatory
contractor” with the United States Department of Labor’s Bureau of
Apprenticeship and Training you can become registered as a “signatory
contractor” by linking directly at
