Division I - Operations

Division I consists of 195 persons.

1 - Division Chief
2 - Deputy Division Chiefs
6 - Battalion Chiefs
6 - Safety Officers
45 - Captains
45 - Driver Engineers
90 - Firefighters

Our main objective in the Operations Division is fire suppression and medical services. Also part of this is hazardous materials, technical rescue and medical services on Lake Springfield.

Our goal is to give the quickest and best services to the citizens of Springfield.

Other non-emergency services for Division I are the testing of all fire hydrants each year, and developing and refining preplans for buildings.
