The Corneau House
was constructed ca. 1849. Charles Corneau was a
Springfield druggist. A portion of the Corneau fence
appears in an 1860 photo of the Lincoln home.
Restoration was completed in 2002. The property
includes a reconstructed barn and privy. Plans call for
the Corneau House to be a public use exhibit space.
Located in the Lincoln Home National Historic Site (LIHO).
Telephone number 217-492-4241. This house is listed on
the National Register of Historic Places.
