Circa 1961-The State House Inn represents the first
example of a true Motor hotel in downtown Springfield.
The structure was designed in the International Style
of architecture and in relationship to other
International Style structures in Springfield, the
State House Inn is the best hospitality example and
exhibits the largest free standing Curtain Wall
Construction.
