| Mayor Timothy J. Davlin
has presented awards in the
city’s fifth annual, local beautification contest, Springfield In Bloom. This
neighborhood improvement initiative spearheaded by Illinois Times and
Springfield Green called on residents, neighborhood groups and
businesses to nominate both new and existing landscaping projects that
they feel were making the biggest impacts on street-side beautification.
