The City
of Springfield Office of Corporation Counsel is the enforcement agency for code violations.
The process of seeking a remedy for violations includes the City's Administrative Court at which
people cited are required to address code violations in an attempt to have them corrected.
The City is now publishing a list of persons who are
defendants in the City's Administrative Court having two or more convictions for violations of the
City Code involving property, and the violations have not been corrected.
They
include housing, environmental, building, zoning and fire code safety violations.
