Taking care of business and having fun while we’re doing it.

The state of the art Abraham Lincoln Library and Museum welcomes researchers and Lincoln historians from around the world.  The museum portion provides a world class opportunity to learn about the life and times of our 16th President.  It is also a wonderful opportunity for Civil War historians to gather and review a host of artifacts from that time period.

Eastside Neighborhood Development Plan

Recognizing that the Eastside Neighborhood is an important sector of the City and that this Neighborhood is experiencing disinvestment and deterioration, the City commissioned the Urban Consulting Group of Peckham, Guyton, Albers & Viets (PGAV) to recommend a program for rehabilitation, redevelopment and stabilization of the Neighborhood.  The report has been completed and is now available for download by clicking HERE.  You will need Adobe Acrobat reader, which is available from Adobe.com.
