Parking Meter Cash Key

No change? No problem! The City of Springfield’s Cash Key provides a coinless way to use downtown parking meters. Pre-load your Cash Key with an amount for as much or as little as you would like. When you park at a City of Springfield meter, insert the key and $.25 will automatically be deducted from your key balance for every 30 minutes added to the meter.

To get your Cash Key, visit the City of Springfield’s Municipal Center located at 300 S. 7^th Street, Room 203 during regular business hours. A $30 deposit is required and given back to you when the key is returned in working condition. Cash or check is accepted for the Cash Key deposit and to apply money to your key. Credit cards are accepted but a 3% additional charge will be incurred.
