Apply for the parklet permit below. Please note: To receive your permit number, you must submit your permit application and draft parklet design. After submitting your permit application and parklet design to Public Works, you will receive your permit number within 5 working days.

The grant will reimburse bars or restaurants located in the central business district for material expenses for parklets. The grant will not reimburse for construction work unless it is only incidental and not functionally separate from the non-construction aspects of the invoice.

If the parklet was installed in response to coronavirus impacts after March 13, 2020, you may request reimbursement. The parklet must meet the design guidelines provided by Public Works.

The grant will reimburse for documented incurred costs for parklet materials up to a maximum of $10,000.

The grant supports businesses to construct commercial spaces to revitalize local economies affected by business or job losses resulting from the coronavirus. Please submit profit-loss statements, or other relevant documentation that compares business activity from before the coronavirus, to during the coronavirus. You may write a short explanation of the impact – it can be as simple as “net income reduced by 100% during shut down.”
