Our neighborhoods are what make Springfield a strong community. That is why the City provides programs to help our residents build up their homes. Through our TIF Rehabilitation Home programs, the City of Springfield provides residents the opportunity to make necessary fixes to their home. Each program is for owner-occupied homes, requires a small portion of project funding to come from the resident, and designated for specific areas within the corporation limits of the City.

Following are the four different home rehabilitation programs. BEFORE starting any application, please reach out to the City’s Office of Planning and Economic Development to make sure you are applying for the correct program.
