Summary of Board
Mid-Illinois Medical District Commission shall consist of the following members: 4 members appointed by the Governor, with the advice and consent of the Senate: 4 members appointed by the Mayor of Springfield, with the advice and consent of the City Council; and one member appointed by the Chairperson of the County Board of Sangamon County. Within 60 days after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 95th General Assembly (11-5-07), the Governor shall appoint 2 addtl members to the Commission. One member shall serve for a term of 4 yrs and one member shall serve for a term of 5 yrs. Those addtl members & their successors shall be limited to residents of the following counties in Il: Cass, Christian, Logan, Macoupin, Mason, Menard, Montgomery, Morgan, or Scott.
