STANFORD AND FOX BRIDGE TO CLOSE FOR INTERSECTION RE-BUILD 09/25/2024
Beginning Monday, October 7, northbound First Street will be closed at Jefferson Street, and lanes will be reduced along Jefferson Street between First and Second Streets for repairs to a 6-inch water main. This work is expected to take multiple days and will be rescheduled in the event of rain. Lanes will reopen after road surface repairs are complete.
Motorists should plan for alternative routes, slow down, and be aware of the construction and repair crews and equipment in and near roadways.
STANFORD AND FOX BRIDGE TO CLOSE FOR INTERSECTION RE-BUILD 09/25/2024
Beginning Thursday, September 26th, the intersection of Stanford Avenue and Fox Bridge Road will be closed for re-alignment and re-construction for the Stanford Avenue project. Work is anticipated to be complete at the end of October. All access to Stanford Avenue will be from 11th Street.
Motorists must take alternative routes and should slow down and drive with caution around this work zone.

- 750 Outer Park Drive
ONGOING CLOSURES:
ADAMS STREET FROM 4TH TO 5TH
Closed indefinitely as damage is assessed.
SOUTH GRAND AVENUE AND COOK STREET UNDERPASSES
South Grand Avenue (9th-11th Street) and East Cook Street (9th-11th Street) are reduced to one lane each direction.
STANFORD AVENUE CLOSURE
Stanford Avenue, between 11th Street and Fox Bridge Road, closed for major work, including constructing the new road with curb and gutter, storm sewer, sidewalks on the south side, and multi-use trail on the north side-anticipated completion by the fall of 2024.
SOUTH 6TH STREET RESURFACING (STANFORD-MYRTLE)
Sidewalk repairs to include milling and resurfacing of pavement. Intermittent closures through December 2024.
