Summary of Board
7 member board with five-year term; four appointed by the Mayor and three appointed by the Sangamon County Board Chairman W/O Ordinance. Stipends are $150.00 monthly to each member. Not paid for by the City. Pursuant to the 1988 City of Springfield Code of Ordinances, Ch 33 Sec 33.002(d) No person shall be appointed to an office for more than three consecutive terms.
