Summary of Board
Chapter 173, article III, sect 173.12.09 Commission consist of a 5 member board with five-year term appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the city council; one registered professional engineer, one member of the general public with no financial interest in mechanical industry, and three current holders of a mechanical license. Pursuant to the 1988 City of Springfield Code of Ordinances, Ch 33 Sec 33.002(d) No person shall be appointed to an office for more than three consecutive terms.
