Summary of Board
Veterans ADVISORY council which shall be subordinate to the office of the mayor. Council shall consist of at least three but not more than ten members appointed by the mayor. Membership shall be voluntary and members of the council shall not receive any compensation for their services. Members will serve a two year term, with a limit of three terms. Pursuant to the 1988 City of Springfield Code of Ordinances, Ch 33 Sec 33.002(d) No person shall be appointed to an office for more than three consecutive terms.
