RFP UE27-11-49 – Rental of Heavy Equipment
Section III – Transmission & Distribution Department Equipment, Item #5: Trucks
We are requesting clarification on the following items:
1. Bucket Truck Reach: For Item #5(b)(i–iv), does the specified reach refer to working height, platform height, or horizontal reach?
2. Bucket Truck Requirements: Are insulated aerial devices required? If so, please specify the required insulation rating (Category A, B, or C) and whether material-handling capabilities are required.
3. Partial Bidding: Can vendors submit rental pricing for only the equipment categories they offer, specifically bucket trucks and digger derricks under Item #5, or must pricing be provided for all equipment listed in the RFP?
