Branch Pickup

    2020 Fall Branch Pickup Concluded

The City of Springfield's residential 2020 fall branch pick-up has concluded. The next branch pickup will take place in the spring 2021. In the meantime, residents may break up smaller branches and place them in their yard waste bags or plastic containers for the bi-weekly yard waste/leaf collection. Residents may drop off branches for free to Evans Recycling (information below).

    Residential Branch Drop Off

Residents may drop off branches to Evans Recycling with proof of residency until the end of March 2021. This service is for City residents only and not for commercial contractors. Evans Recycling is located at 2100 J. David Jones Parkway and is open Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, 7:00 a.m. – 12-noon. Evans Recycling’s contact number is 217.391.0886.

Branch Piles Are NOT Considered Yard Waste

As a reminder, the city's branch pickup is a DIFFERENT program from the city’s bi-weekly yard waste pick up program that is now until the end of March 2021. The branch pickup program only occurs twice a year.

For questions about the City of Springfield yard waste and branch pickup, please call the Office of Public Works at 217.789.2255 or email public.works@springfield.il.us.
