Branch Pickup

    City-Wide Branch Collection

The City of Springfield’s spring residential branch pickup has ended. The next branch pickup will occur in the fall.

As a reminder, branch pickup is a DIFFERENT program from the city’s yard waste/leaf pickup program. Smaller branches may be broken up and placed in yard waste bags or plastic containers labeled “Yard Waste” as part of the free, no sticker yard waste collection that is occurring now until December 31, 2019. To read details about that program, click here.

Residents may also drop off branches for FREE to Evan Recycling until June 30, 2019. This service is not for commercial contractors but for city residents only with proof of residency. Evans is located at 2100 J. David Jones Parkway and is open Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Saturday 7:00 a.m. - 12-noon. The contact number is 217.391.0886.

For questions about the City of Springfield branch pickup, including downed branches caused by a storm, please call the Office of Public Works at 217.789.2255 or email
